South Eastern Allstars offers recreational and competitive cheerleading classes for students of all ages and abilities, from 3-year-olds up to young adults.
Recreational cheerleading is a fantastic way to start out, without the high level of commitment of our competitive programs. Students can enrol at any time during the year and learn jumps, tumbling and the basics of stunting at their own pace. Recreational cheerleading classes are also a great way to develop basic skills before advancing into our competitive programs. Because our recreational cheerleading programs are designed for beginners, no previous experience is necessary.
Competitive cheerleading is a competition sport, where female and male athletes perform a 2½ minute routine comprising stunting, pyramids, group tumbling, jumping and a dance break.
Each year, students attend a variety of competitions and events, improving their skills as the year goes on, building friendships and learning the importance of communication, teamwork and dedication.
South Eastern Allstars is a fully inclusive club, and we have teams for all ages and abilities. After an initial trial class, students will be allocated to the squad most appropriate for their age and skill level.
SEA offers Flyers classes, as a way for our flyers to continue to improve. These classes are a great way for flyers to improve their strength and flexibility, to better themselves and their team. As a flyer, students focus on flexibility, leg and core strength and sharpness in the air.
SEA coaches are available for private lessons throughout the week for tumbling. This is a great way to work on your individual needs and get one-on-one attention. Simply contact our reception to book a private lesson at a suitable time.
